Individual Activities
Interview a Florida Resident
In this activity, you will talk with someone who currently lives in Florida. You will develop a list of questions that you can ask that person about the impact the hurricanes have had on their lives. Questions may include topics such as "How often do you encounter hurricanes where you live?" or "What are your major concerns regarding hurricanes" or "What is you evacuation plan in case of a hurricane?" The knowledge that you gain from this interview will help you develop an understanding of the potential concerns of the people living on your island.
